“A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal”

Proverbs 12:10

Romeo “Stretch”

Romeo, is a senior registered Quarter Horse who roams our sanctuary freely -He’s quick to greet visitors & generously gives out kisses hoping for lots of treats!

Ruby

Ruby was legally seized from a hoarding situation. She was severely emaciated & sick…we worried she might not survive but today, even though she requires a lot of extra care, her health has greatly improved & so has her ability to trust! She is enjoys being groomed but really enjoys her solitude! Ruby is now living her best life!

Magnolia “Maggie”

Magnolia was a used-up broodmare with DSLD that nobody wanted to save; she came to us extremely emaciated, missing most of her mane, wounded & only three months away from foaling what would be her last baby, (Libby.) We promised Maggie she’d live the remainder of her life being pampered, loved & free to just be a horse whose days would be filled with grazing & roaming with a herd of friends!

Peanut

After his owner passed away, Peanut was surrendered to our sanctuary. He loves kids & will stand to be loved on & groomed all day long but training & exercise bring out the feisty side of him!

Applejack “Lil Thunder”

Yes, Applejack looks like a little stuffed animal, but he prefers to just hang with his mini friends - he’ll stand for grooming & do his best to trust & do what is asked of him, but he expects extra treats for his tolerating us!

Fancy

This beautiful senior Leopard Appaloosa found her way to us in need of her soft place to land…she is prone to founder & requires medication & supplements to manage her arthritis. She is loves being pampered & roaming with her friends!
