This program is open to children (ages 6 & older,) youth & adults. For those who'd like an introduction to all things horses or desire to learn more about horse behavior, ground skills, round pen work, caring for horses, herd behavior, grooming, leading, connecting with horses & the basics of riding. Lessons consist of a combination of ground skills & western discipline riding. Participants will be paired with one of our rescue horses who've gone through rehabilitation & training. No horse experience is necessary. Since we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit horse rescue organization, we rely on donations to help with continued care of our permanent sanctuary residents & ongoing rescue efforts. By participating in this program, you're also helping to support the needs of rescue residents!
