A Healing Sanctuary For horses and humans

Saving one horse won’t change the world but it will change the world for that one horse.

Steele Magnolia Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides a permanent refuge for abandoned, abused and neglected horses. The sanctuary also offers hope & healing to children and adults through Therapeutic Equine Assisted Activities.

 OUR MISSION

The mission of Steele Magnolia Sanctuary is to provide a permanent refuge for abused and neglected horses where they can live out their lives enjoying kindness and compassion. The sanctuary offers a place of peace, healing and hope for horses and humans. Once our horses are restored back to health, they become the healers to children and adults through Therapeutic Equine Assisted Activities.

A few of Our Residents

  • Little Gem Liberty "Libby"

Libby was born at our santuary after we rescued her momma, Magnolia who was on her way to slaughter.

  • Prince Charming "Prince"

Prince came to us extremely emaciated & was one of over 30 horses rescued from a hoarding case.

  • Steele

Steele was starved & physically abused by a back yard Arabian breeder.

  • Bentley

Bentley went through countless auctions, survived neglect & physical abuse before landing on a kill lot. He arrived extremely sick & emaciated.

  • Baby Blue Sapphire "Sapphire"

Shortly after being weaned, Sapphire’s momma was killed. Sapphire was then left to fend for herself after her owner moved, leaving her on the property.

  • Buttercup

Buttercup was used to pull a cart & give pony rides before being dumped on a kill lot.
